The system gets stuck on the initializing screen (s) [initializing across the phone, media and navigation tabs; with a black back-lit MMI screen] maybe once or twice a week. It might be that the MMI goes into a 'deep sleep' and it has problems coming out of that when there is interference from a 5G signal.

Audi dealer techs are starting to take a really close look at MMI control failure. Audi rejected lot of warranty claims and charged back dealer for replacing MMI control failure because of liquid spill. Audi calls for those parts to be returned for inspection. If they found liquid spill they will send them back to dealer and reject the warranty
For those who have sat in an A6/A8/Q7 you will know that most come with the interior ambient lighting package. This is where the footwells and in some cases a light bar along the door trim stay illuminated at night. The A8 has the most features where you can set what mood you are wanting i.e. Rear Only, Highway, All etc.

2012 Audi a6 3.0 Replaced the sensor up front that wasn't buzzing. The camera came back on for about 30 seconds and now wont turn on when in reverse. I purchased the back up horn that I believe is located in the front not the back like previous year cars. Does anyone know how to replace this or any other options on fixing the issue. Pull fuse 3 'Radio/navigation' fuse (7.5amps), fuse 'Control unit for digital sound system' (30amps) and fuse 5 'MMI' (5 amps). Clearly a software glitch that couldn't be sorted by rebooting the MMI but a power down reboot did the trick.

There is a way to manually reboot the system by pressing three keys. Check your manually for the reboot sequence. Did all that before I took it in to Audi.
